Appointments can be booked in person at our Sydney studio, by phone call or via Zoom. We can discuss projects via email if you prefer.
Please note I can only accommodate so many projects each month, so there may be a small waiting period before appointments become available.
During our initial consultation, we will discuss design ideas, budget, metals, gemstones and timeframes for your custom piece.
It's ok if you are unsure about any of the above at this stage, this is to be expected & I will guide you through the different options.
If you are only after a small customisation of an existing design, (change of gem colour or metal) this does not require an appointment. Please email the studio for a quote.
Once we have a design direction, I will go away and put together some ideas and quotes for you & source possible stone options. A follow up appointment may be booked by request to go over design ideas & view possible gemstones.
Once a design & quote is approved, a 50% deposit is required to confirm your project & secure any gemstones.
Your custom piece will be hand carved in wax. Photos and videos will be provided of the carving for you to sign off before casting in your chosen metal.
A follow up appointment may be booked by request to view & discuss wax carvings.
At this point small changes may be made to the wax carving- eg, band thickness, adding more texture, ring size.
Larger more complex changes, such as a different design or gemstone, will incur additional labour & material costs. This will always be quoted before proceeding.
Once the wax carving is approved by you, the wax model will be cast in the alloy of your choice, stones will be set in place and the item polished.
Changes to the design & sizing can not be made after this point.
Your custom piece is complete! Photos and videos will be provided of the finished piece (unless you would prefer to see the finished piece in person).
Full payment will be due at this point. Your item will then be packaged in one of our handmade leather pouches & shipped to you, or it can be collected from our Sydney studio.
Domestic parcels are posted through Australia Post Express. International parcels are posted through DHL Express. All parcels require a signature on delivery & will be fully insured from our studio to the point of delivery.
